What to do with cling film?
How much time have you spent unrolling your cling film to find in an unsalvageable pile on the kitchen worktop?
Or found that the last person to use it doesn’t have the knack of pulling a full-width piece off the roll. It’s frustrating, isn’t it?

Household recycling collections
Unfortunately cling film cannot currently be recycled and should be put into your non-recyclable bin.
The outer packaging and inner tubes that are made of cardboard can be placed in most household collections.
Household waste recycling centre (HWRC)
Cling film is not accepted at Household Waste Recycling Centres.
What can you do?
Opt for reusable tubs or pouches, or put your sandwich directly into your lunch box, use fruit or snacks to pack them in so they don’t shift about.
Try reusable stretchy silicone lids to cover your leftovers.
Switch to beeswax wraps or make your own, there are also vegan wraps available.
