Bubble wrap can't be recycled through kerbside collections, but there are some great ways to reuse it so you if you hold onto your bubble wrap next you'll be ready anytime you need to send that unexpected parcel.

What can you do?

  1. Use bubble wrap in the garden to protect plants and pots from frost damage

  2. Insulate your shed or greenhouse with it, but remember to pierce it to allow for ventilation

  3. Ask family and friends if they can use it if they are moving house or putting items into storage

  4. Reuse it by protecting gifts or items being posted, moved or put into storage

Recycling is constantly evolving and changing so check back for updates or try our recycling locator to find out what you can recycle at home and where you can recycle or pass on unwanted items in your local area.
